A memory display.

With trends moving towards a sharing economy, people tend to own fewer items. Step was a team project with April Seekumar, in collaboration with Umbra.

After ideation on many different forms, and exploring with sketch models, we tested multiple 3D printed models created in Solidworks to experiment with sizes and spacing.

Textured extruded aluminum easily holds photos and other special memories to display. Friction fit into a resin base eliminates the need for any adhesive and efficient packaging.
